Financial Analyst
HFBE's analyst program is a great opportunity for talented new graduates to fully utilize the skills acquired in college. Analysts will work directly with associates, vice presidents and managing directors of the firm on a variety of complex task and challenging assignments.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Performing financial modeling, forecasting, and quantitative analysis
• Participating in due diligence meetings and conducting company, industry, and economic research
• Analyzing general economic conditions and industry specific conditions and trends
• Performing corporate valuations including analysis of discounted cash flows, capitalization of earnings, comparable companies, and merger and acquisition transactions
• Preparing written valuation reports for client presentation
• Participating in the hiring, training, and management of part-time college interns

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree (finance or accounting majors preferred)
• Minimum 3.4 overall GPA
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Proficient in Excel
• Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
